This adorable story of a little cat who wants to explore the world is a wonderful way to show a child that adventure can happen when you step out of your comfort zone, even if you are a little afraid to try something new. As the story develops, it also teaches that new friends can be anywhere.
The book is also beautifully illustrated with the extra treat of finding where Teddy is on each page.
I heard that Carl and Teddy go on an Egyptian adventure. I can’t wait to get it for my 6-year old!
Hi Meli!
I just wanted to say that I'm so stoked to see how beautiful the book's art is, the friendship of Carl and Teddy remains me of a very good friend of mine. After I read the book a couple of times I gave it to my friend's daughter, she is a baby, but I can tell that she fell in love with Carl and Teddy and all the other friends they made in Nicaragua. I just ordered 2 more books, can't wait to get them!
My 3-year-old son LOVES Carl and Teddy’s adventure to Nicaragua. The narrative holds their attention, is playful, and includes hidden facts about the culture that we get more than a typical kid’s book. The illustrations are fun and portrays their path to the volcano in a colourful perspective.
I bought this book for the kids I babysit, and they absolutely loved it! It’s super cute and introduces local animals while helping kids understand their feelings and how to deal with them. It also shows how fun it is to share experiences with friends. Highly recommend!
